What is Hoop Dancing?
The HoopStar Workout is feel-good fitness that inspires strength, confidence, power and poise. Participants get fit while learning to hoop on the waist, torso, arms and legs. Benefits include: burning fat while toning the body, stress relief and calming the mind, meditative, deep breathing and healthy body alignment.

About the Teacher
Shawna provides students with a supportive, fun and dynamic class environment in which to experience the delights of hooping. While drawing on HoopGirl's wisdom, Shawna brings a background in life coaching and yoga into her teaching to focus on the embodiment of greater self-awareness, vitality, and beauty in the flow of movement. In teaching the hooping moves and principles, she invites her students to explore breath, balance and their own uniqueness. For Shawna "dancing within the universal symbol of the circle is a path to awakening joy, and sharing that with others on the journey."
